Located 11 miles south of Pescadero, Año Nuevo State Beach & Reserve is the site of the largest mainland breeding colony in the world for the northern elephant seal.

Seven miles south of Pescadero is Pigeon Point Lighthouse. Perched on a cliff on the central California coast, the 115-foot lighthouse is one of the tallest lighthouses in America and has been guiding mariners since 1872.



Harley Farms Goat Dairy is a farmstead dairy and producer of artisan, award winning fresh French style goat cheese, located just outside downtown Pescadero.


Made in Pescadero offers high quality art work and exquisitely made furniture from Pescadero artists and craftsmen.


To satisfy your hunger there are gourmet baked goods and hot out of the oven bread at Arcangelli’s Market.


Just outside downtown Pescadero, Phipps Ranch offers a wide display of farm animals, old farm equipment, and perhaps the largest selection of heirloom beans you will ever see. U-pick organic strawberries and olallieberries are available in season.


Half Moon Bay is a rural seaside community. Local activities include two award winning golf courses and a driving range, sport fishing, whale watching, horseback riding on the beach, a historical Main Street with unique shops.
