Pescadero Downtown Shops

High end furniture made locally awaits you at Made In Pescadero. Wood beds, dressers and tables the likes you will find nowhere else abound in this shop, as well as local art and fine goods. In addition to one of three sit down restaurants in town Pescadero Country Store is a full service market, formerly known as Williamson’s. Puick up wine and goodies for a picnic at the beach.

And be sure to check out the news shops added this year in their back garden along Pescadero Creek. There is plenty of seating inside and out for restaurant patrons. Or if you are not hungry but just want to take a load off, settle in to the comfy chairs in the Mermaid Bar at the Pescadero Country Store. “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion”. -Dalai Lama Arcangeli’s Bakery aka Norm’s Market serves delicious fresh baked garlic bread and tasty pastries.  In addition they have an extensive wine selection and home made sauces and dips.

And in the back of the store they have a full service butcher shop and make great deli sandwiches. Watch long time local artisan Tom Shuman whip out beautiful pots on his wheel while touring his unique pots iat Shuman Pottery. Bring home a Pescadero beer mug or a beautiful bowl made on premises Visit the potter’s shop located directly behind the garden area at the Pescadero Country Store Potter Tom Shuman has his shop right next to the store so you may watch him weave his magic on his wheel.

Stroll into the old Victorian housing Luna Sea and be amazed at what is in store for you! Whether you are looking to decorate inside or out, Luna Sea owner Janice offers one of a kind treasures. Located in the childhood home of Gordon Moore, the founder of Intel, you will find it difficult leaving without an armful of packages. 

Whether it is furniture made from old wine casks, or colorful rugs made of recycled plastics, earings or beautiful paintings, you will find something to tickle your fancy. Located in the same building as Luna Sea, Stage Road Shop offers both new and second hand items of worth, many made by local artists A recent addition in town is Sante Arcangeli Tasting Room. Open most weekends, they offer locally made wines. 

However, per their sign, they, like many other shops in town, sometimes just enjoy the day. You should as well…. We now have an in season Farmers Market on Thursday afternoons offering local organic treats treats. Pescadero Thrift Shop, run by local non-profit Southcoast Children’s Services has raised money to send local Pescadero sturdents on trips as far as Washington DC and Hawaii. Browse their racks of second hand clothing for hidden treasures while supporting Pescadero youth! Pescadero’s newest shop, Slow Coast, offers local treatsures found no where else.

Newly planted, they expect to have flowers ready to pick by late June, 2016! In addition they have plants, ready made bouquets and other garden items, as well as some ‘How To’ classes.​​​​​​ As in years past, Pescadero, California, offers a shopping experience to be found nowhere else!
